This is a Yoshihiro Paring/Petty Knife with Octagonal Oak Handle, made of ZA18 at the core of the blade, squeezed into Stainless Steel(known as Clad "Warikomi method").
New Blade Material ZA18 is of really hard material and sharpness stays long, due to high abrasion resistance. Compared with other Stainless Steel, content by percentage of Chrome(Cr) is higher and naturally it shows high rust prevention.
