This is a Sakai Takayuki Kengata Santoku (Bunka), made of VG-10 Stain Resistant Steel at the core of the blade, squeezed into 32 Layers Damascus Steel. Beautiful Damascus pattern & Hammered Finish!!!
Kengata (Sword shape) means the blade tip is extremely sharp and slanted like Japanese Sword or Kiritsuke Style blade, suitable for delicate work. Excellent in appearance, too.
